Cadbury's got talent!

Cadbury College Student Guild celebrated the end of term by hosting a sell-out student talent show on 18th December 2012.

It was an amazing night, with 150 students buying tickets to see their fellow students take part in an X factor style competition, with our very own Gary, Tulisa, Nicole and Louis (aka students Mohammed, Elizabeth, Humzah, plus Kathryn Hale, Drama and Theatre Studies teacher).

Singer Songwriter Laura12 acts took to the stage showcasing their individual talents in front of a sell-out audience. With a variety of singers, actors, dancers and musicians,  the talent was top notch!

The overall winners were dance act JJS, formed by A2 students Josh Osei, Jimi Oketunji and Seth Sule. Second place was awarded to self-taught pianist Scott Thacker and guitar playing singer songwriter Laura Williamson came third.
Pianist Scott The talent show was organised by the Student Guild, a student led body promoting student welfare, representing student views and organising social activities for students at Cadbury College. The Student Guild is made up of 5 officers, who are all current students at the college, and are elected on an annual basis.

A special mention also to current Student Guild President Shimon Atunde who did an amazing job as host of the event, keeping a lively crowd entertained and amused throughout the evening!
